Suzanne Ryan

Ms. Ryan has been practicing family law in Maryland for almost two decades.  She strives to advocate for her clients’ best interests while helping them navigate the personal challenges involved in divorce and custody matters.  Ms. Ryan believes that whenever practicable, family cases are better served by reaching resolution through mediation, negotiation, and/or collaboration.  

Ms. Ryan has a strong sense of empathy for the children involved in family conflicts.  She has been appointed by courts in multiple jurisdictions to represent children’s interests as a Best Interest Attorney, a Child Advocate Attorney, and a Child Privilege Attorney.  In addition to being appointed by the court, Ms. Ryan has been privately retained to represent children who qualify under Maryland law to file on their own behalf.

Ms. Ryan is an attorney, mediator, parenting coordinator, and is collaboratively trained.
